The next night we went to Dub's house in Dubtown for a PJ party. Dub is and incredibly well rounded chap who shares the same audiophillic capacities that i do... except his itunes library doubles mine... grr... :P Regardless, I got there, sporting the ever-amazing Mr. Bill PJ bottoms, only to be outmatched by a mandolin playing, long haired, ROFLCopter shirted beast by the name of Guildenstokes sporting some leopard print PJ bottoms...
We started out slow with some more Catch-Phrase, luckily it didnt end up being the dying heart monitor everytime it got to me :) We then moved on to something else, which someone forgot to bring the time keeping device/playing board so we moved on to the game that i brought... CRANIUM! But before we played cranium, "Dubtroon 9000" decided to make some of his world famous french pressed coffee. This is a straining like device that apparently squeezes out the magic juices in a coffee bean that makes your tongue have an orgasm at the second of contact. Well... this coffee turned out to be a fail.. but Dub's friend Kendall decided to put hot chocolate stuff in it and it made it all better. At this time, Dub's roommate/live in boyfriend Asian Frank walks up in a robe, pj pants and fluffy slippers... We ask him if he likes coffee and his reply "Im in more of a tea phase right now." :D funny at the time (i promise). Anyways Asian Frank gets a teacup/saucer out of this random closet and asks for a taste of Dub's fail coffee.
Anyways... we then played Cranium and it was me Dub and Kendall and we freakin pulled from behind a win with magic words like "Eiffel Tower" and "Plastic Surgery". After that, someone decided it would be cool to play hide and seek in an old house with no lights... yeah... great plan... and being my fear of both of those things i decided to be the one to hide and not explore the dark crevices of the house :P. I had to endure 15 min of "Can he be there?... Nah, i already checked there" and @Rosenkratz's "This is really starting to tick me off".
Next, some guy i didnt know had to hide and we took forever to find him and i decided it would be funny to quote "The Shining" haha for the person who decided it would be a good idea for hide and seek... quite ironic that she is the most skiddish one of the bunch :P After a few rounds I bid thee adeiu and went off on my way.... only to be pulled over by a cop who only spoke ebonics... I think i had to ask him kindly to repeat what he said at least 7 times... it went from "dii noo whhuu yii diidd" to "Do ya know why i puh you ovah?". Which i kindly responded with a "No officer, i dont" and he told me that i allegedly went the wrong way down a 1 way street.. yeah... bull shenanigans.. anyways... Yeah, Dubs is the best! His house has its own name and it was a great night : )

Jordan Nelson Loves Cheesy Chicken... and Kendall
So, Its the beginning of the end of break and school starts in a few days and all of my friends at the BCM decided to throw a sequence of "Partays" at their prospective living spaces for these last few days. The first one of these was and a friend who was house sitting for his older bro who is a computer programmer. We had a good time watching the FAILabama game, making maple "cookies", etc.. Then we played some catch phrase where, for some reason, the device always decided to be tossed to me when time was about to go off and it sounded like the heart monitor of somene having a violent epilleptic seizure. Nonetheless, I persevered. Then someone, lets call him Dub, had the bright idea of making a garage band song out of a page in a recipe book. This idea, while sounding stupid at first, was actually one of the funniest, most catchy songs i have heard in a while. For some reason, "Cheesy Chicken" just has a magical ring to it :P.

Falling (Not the Verb)
So, I have decided that i use the word "so" way too much. And being that I suck at the whole personal goals deal, I have decided to not care anymore since the progression of this sentence.... This week is that of Thanksgiving break. And, being that the person I wanted to hang out with today is in the process of being kidnapped by his own mother and forcefully taken to Birmingham to eat dinner/lunch with his older brother and sister-in-law, I decided to take this time and update this infamous blog. Not quite sure what to write about, Im just going to start rambling.
I absolutely LOOOVE the fall and winter seasons.... When it starts to get cold, and i get to cover up all of my pale. Everyone starts gravitating to the inside areas and my mom starts making repository worthy amount of food (All of which are amazing I might add). People start having this look of anxiousness of the coming days of holiday craziness ahead. I personally become completely apathetic to anything academic related. And what is absolutely amazing about holidays.... friends come home! Friends that you haven't seen since highschool come back and give you a hug and then forget about you again! Its great...
This week my family and I went to Callaway Gardens to engorge ourselves in overpriced Winn-Dixie food and drive through dark woods with the occasional illuminated organized bulbs aka "Fantasty in Lights". Haha, contrary to the underlying sense of disdain in the last sentence, i actually thoroughly enjoy Callaway. Being outside and eating artery clogging country dinners/breakfasts is the jam (Muscadine).

When They Said Concert, They Really Meant.... (1/3)
This Thursday Stephen (Not The Gay One) and I were going to an Underoath/Saosin/The Devil Wears Prada concert. So, I drive up to Stephen's house, and we get all of our stuff ready, come back like 8 times because i forgot stuff, and finally we were on our way. The drive started out lame, but as we got closer to ATL it started to pick up. We started with seeing Saturn's with no rims (*coughs Jeff), then it progressed to tricked out H2's with like 30 somethings. So it takes us like 2 hours to get there because they are doing construction and trying to raise the road like 3 feet. We finally get off at our exit, take a few sketch street turns and eventually see our target... The Masquerade. We take an early turn where we park the Xfactor and head on our way. Stephen tells me that this is a large line for a concert because he was here before for a concert and it wasnt nearly this big. This worried me a little. We then make our way down the street crossing about 200 people, ranging from everything from the typical emo: the band shirt, girl jeans, piercings, fringe, Converse, to the California Surfer: HoCo flip flops (not a smart idea for a concert of this venue), Abercrombie shirt, cargo shorts, messed up hair... you get the picture, there were alot of different kinds of people... this one, Stephen pointed out to me was a really mixed bag... Fall Out Boy hat, jeans, converse... but his eyes... (http://farm1.static.flickr.com/111/292553831_d46301bfbe.jpg?v=0) yeah... creepy... People watching at places like these is really fun, and occasionally you get something interesting... like the guitarist from underoath walking with his parents to the back of the building that no one caught but me (i was kind of surprised at this) Anyways, the doors finally opened, and we got herded in through these freaking huge bouncers that dominated your hand with a giant splat of black ink. We were then "herded" into the bottom area known endearingly as "Hell". I stayed close to the door, so when they decided to let us up into "Heaven" the place where our concert was, me and Stephen would be the first ones up there... And of course, being at the entrance of a room, you hear some pretty interesting things... one that i found quite ironic: Boy "Hey, I like Hell, I've never been here before." Girl "Yeah, its neat, but its really hot in here"... hah Fail! So they finaly let us up to Heaven where me and stephen sprint to the front. We make it to about 5 feet from the stage, or 3 people and a bar in between us and the stage. At first, it seemed kinda fun, and then i was like uh oh.. haha big people all around, I'm about to get dominated... But then a black guy came out and started doing a sound check, and of course no one recognized him as being POS, because hip hop at a HXC concert was completely absurd. He then continued in playing (or should i say rapping) his songs, which everyone was extremely hostile and it made me laugh. Then The Devil Wears Prada came on and completely melted the stage with pulse pounding harmonics and slammin' guitar licks powered by deep hitting vocals. This was the point that after the first 20 min i looked down at my hands and noticed that they were already raisiny from the sweat of the concert, along with my completely soaked shirt, pants, socks, undies, and shoes... all wet, or should i say all sweat.. But i couldnt care less, the show rocked my face and my two favorites still werent on yet. Once the Devil Wears Prada completly brought down the house, Saosin came out. Now im not sure why every one was hating on the "Girly Voiced Abercrombie Models" but i really liked them. Stephen had muscled his way to the front b/c this was his favorite band of the concert. So, being the tired little chap he was, he was like "Hey, U want the front" and i was like "Ah Hell yeah!" and then proceeded in making myself familar with my "closest" friends for the next 40 or so minutes. They seemed nice, sharing water (at this point i really didnt mind contracting aids as long as i could get some liquids) and such... Anyways, Underoath rocked my face and i caught the drummer (Aaron Gillespie) 's drumstick, and it is sitting on my shelf now in a place of honor! haha Then we stopped off at a waffle house on the way back where Stephen completely dominated like 5 eggs, waffles and I think milk... while i shivered in my soaking tshirt drinking water. (I know pathetic right?) We finally got back, took a shower and ended our (well, my) first concert experience extravaganza!....
And when me and Stephen said we were going to a concert, we really shouldve called it "Me and Stephen are going to an enclosed fireworks show of epilleptic proportions where your extended family 8 times removed beat each other up blindfolded"

The Roast Of Stephen Taunton...
Today was a slightly interesting day. I must add that I didn't "wake up" until 10:20. I put wake up in quotes because it was more like "woken up". In my house we have like a wet bar thing, and apparently it leaked because when i went in my dad's office the carpet felt like a wet sponge (not a disappealing feeling might i add : P). So now they are changing the wall to the otherside and making a closet in the office... and God knows why they have to make so much noise!! I mean, come on... your demo'ing glass, tile, cement.. its not like you have to be noisy... Anyways, shower + crimson buttondown + black and white striped undershirt= ballin'. I dressed up today because i had my first of many engineering reports for our class.... fail haha then i was off to the BCM fo sum grub... Eating with my new aum ppl friends is interesting.... Haha i have a friend.. haha lets call her Bad A, haha... she is VERY interesting.. haha and when i say interesting.. i mean, like, she knows EVERY disney show, shoot off show, Jessie McCartney fanatic, Dreamstreet, Backstreet Boys (well, i listen to them to.. but anyways) completely immersed in her 90's childhood kinda person. Even though she listens to some of my music, her favorite songs on an album, are the songs i cant stand and vice versa. Haha, yeah.... I also have friends that are dating, the guy.. Lets call him ME, and the girl... haha lets call her DA... they are cool , the guy likes the same music i do and only wears 6 shirts (pants haha im not quite sure he has more than 1) and the girl... well, haha she is "special".. haha (jk Jenn... i mean.. haha) anyways.. well we all were going to go to the mall today and guess who walks up.... haah our "favorite" person.. stephen taunton... so he "tags along" in my car with Bad A... who proceeds in making us headbangers listen to the pre-pubescent boy band from the 90's called Dreamstreet... uh... haha then i put on underoath and she completely freaked and asked us "do you listen to that as music" and then me and stephanie "kindly" explained to her that it was in fact music. Then it was off to fye where stephanie saw his favorite tv show... "Whoa, Sex And The City!, i want that!!" seeing this perfect set up i responded with a "Stephen, you are never going to get that" XD after that, it was off to pacsun where stephanie showed off his new girl jeans that he bought because regular jeans were "too baggy". We then looked in the back of the store where we saw a sale of regular tshirts with nothing on them... Stephanie however took this as an "ooh, they are on sale, im going to get one in every color, but first i forgot what size i bought the first one..." where he then tried them on, and we quickly exited the store, where we saw another friend... lets call him... The Friendly Ginger! So FG was in his UPS uniform (dexy sexy short shorts haha) and he talked to us for a while and then some reason Stephanie found us in express where he was looking for a vest and then proceeded in standing in a mannequin pose, staring at the air... We finally decided that i needed to go back to my chem lab, so we parted ways, and i rode back with DA and ME and Stephanie... Stephanie had some choice words for me... "(My Name), you make me feel like an idiot all the time! Everytime im around you, you make other people think im mentally retarded. I might as well go around looking like this all day *stares in the air, drops his jaw with his mouth open, and does the Deet De De hands"... my response is as follows... "Well thats already how you look when you drum"

Deucin' It Up
So today is the second day of the blogging action. "VEERY EXCITE!" (Borat! anyone?) Anyways, today I woke up and went to my boring engineering class where we have 2 foreign teachers. We all thought that they were both asians, but were sadly mistaken. For some reason the name "Luiz Cuevapara" did not strike me as Peruvian. Anyways these two professors couldnt be over 5'2". They both wear baggy shirts that looks like they got from T.J. Max in the 80's, really skinny belts that held their oversized blue cordaroy pants up just enough to see the knee socks above their new balance shoes. Dont get me wrong, these are the nicest teachers in the world, their fashion sense however... severly lacking... But we have this project coming up where we have to analyze energy efficiency in 5 of our biggest buildings, come up with energy saving ideas, do a cost analysis, and a bunch of other gay crap that no one wants to. Then it was off to get the ever amazing new Senses Fail album "Life Is Not a Waiting Room". When i got home my oldfactory nerves got a whiff of amazingness as i noteced the homemade peperoni/banana pepper pizza mmmm haha. Then it was off to Grow where we had a semi-intense grape fight... we managed to get some "interesting looking" grape juice stains on the wall, tv, couch, chairs, and Hannah Finch's face. After that we went bowling where B-Pick and his Asian like bowling skills were shown to all.... (He bowled a 196) Thus ending day deuce.
